1.1.Tool setter wiring. Firstly, connect the tool setter cable with the machine tool, and fix the tool setter base on the workbench, which is generally fixed within the stroke range of the upper left corner of the workbench, so as not to affect the workpiece processing.
1.2.Machine settings. Then select “use tool setter” in “machine tool configuration” in “system parameter” setting of machine tool.
1.3.Determine the tool setting position. The tool setting position is the central position of the tool setter. When the tool setter is used for automatic tool setting, the tool will quickly move to this position for tool setting.
1.4.Tool setter position. The method of setting the tool setting position of the machine tool is the same as that of setting the starting point of X, y and Z. move the tool tip to the center of the moving plane of the tool setter, write down the current position, and then enter the corresponding value in the dialog box.

2.Precautions for installing tool setter on machine tool
2.1.The contact surface between the tool and the tool setter must be kept vertical, and the tool should be kept in vertical downward contact with the contact surface. The tool setter should be installed on the workbench with less iron filings as far as possible, so as not to affect the accuracy of the tool setter.
2.2.The use voltage within the rated voltage range is controlled at DC: 0 ~ 24V ~ 20mA (max), the recommended value is 10mA, and the use effect is better in the working environment temperature range of 0 ~ 60 degrees.
2.3.The tool diameter for tool setting shall be controlled below 20mm, the tool setting speed shall be controlled at 50 ~ 200mm / min, and the center point of the tool shall correspond to the center of the upper surface of the tool instrument.
2.4.When using the blowing function of the tool setter, the outer diameter of the air pipe is 6mm and the inner diameter is 4 ~ 5mm. Pay attention to hygiene and clean the iron filings and iron dust attached to the contact surface.

3.Precautions for use of tool setter
3.1The contact between the tool and the tool setter shall not exceed the stroke of the tool setter, otherwise the tool is easy to damage and damage the tool setter, and the general stroke is 5mm.
3.2When touching the contact surface of the tool setter by hand, do not release it immediately, so as not to damage the internal structure of the tool setter and affect the service efficiency and service life.
3.3After tool setting, the tool must be lifted vertically away from the contact surface, and do not move laterally, so as not to damage the tool setter.
3.4There are two main wiring modes of the tool setter, PNP wiring and NPN wiring. The green line is the tool setting signal output, and the white line is the tool setting protection. The brown line and white line are 24V in PNP wiring and 0V in NPN wiring. Please connect in different ways.
